TITLE:"TRAUMA AND THE BRAIN: AN INTRODUCTION ABOUT TRAUMA AND ITS LIFE CHANGING IMPACT"
The following trainings are intended to develop the awareness, understanding, and application of trauma-informed practices. Developing skill and use of trauma-informed practices allows for creating an environment that is sensitive and responsive to those studetns and staff members who have experienced trauma.
TITLE: "TRAUMA AND SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL LEARNING: AN INTEGRATED APPROACH TO USING SEL TO SUPPORT THE IMPACT OF TRAUMA"
The following training is intended to integrate social and emotional learning in the trauma-informed practices. The intent is to build the emotional intelligence of teachers and students that help build resilience to the effects of trauma.
