TOPIC: Unwanted behaviors can often distract from the objectives we have for children. Building an inclusive community that prioritizes relationships helps to create a sense of belonging. In this Restorative Practices training, we will lay the foundation for creating a restorative philosophy, mindset, and strategies that prioritize compassionate relationships and provide the skills to restore those relationships when conflict arises.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
1. Participants will learn the importance of a Restorative philosophy and mindset
2. Participants will learn proactive strategies that build community and belonging
3. Participants will learn emotional intelligence’s role in restorative practices
